Summary

Today, end-users have to sign in into the RUN applications in order to access their dashboards. The goal is to add an option for developer to make some dashboards accessible for anonymous users - i.e. dashboards will be available for public access. Currently, public dashboards are only available in the TagoIO admin.

Intended Outcome

Allow customers to have public dashboards in their own application domain.

How will it work?

Developers will use the Access management section to create an anonymous user and then associate the dashboards to it. End-users can access the dashboards directly through the link of the application.

Impact

Soon after we release this feature, we will remove the option of Public dashboards from the TagoIO admin to remove code complexity. End of life, EOL, will be announced later, but the expectation is sometime around Jan,2023.
